Vanessa has been working as a pediatric occupational therapist for ten years at various children’s hospitals, pediatric outpatient and inpatient settings, as well as schools and home-based early intervention. Throughout her career, she has been the lead therapist in several NICU follow up clinics providing developmental assessments to premature and high-risk infants and toddlers among a specialized medical-based team and following them through school age. Vanessa also evaluates and treats children with feeding and swallowing, neurological, orthopedic, autism, sensory processing, and genetic disorders.

Vanessa wholeheartedly loves working with children and their families to help optimize their independence with fine and visual motor skills, developmental milestones, and activities of daily living. As a new mom, she understands how important it is to find ways to integrate home programming into busy schedules and find the best, evidence-based therapeutic interventions for your child. You can usually find Vanessa crawling through tunnels with the littles in the clinic, teaching infant handling or feeding techniques to caregivers, or collaborating with the LKS team on best practices. She looks forward to working with your family.
